This is why social media is dangerous. There will be young professionals who read what people like you post here and on facebook groups and take it as truth. You're dangerous. Dental professionals should, but rarely research claims made by other professionals and supply companies. It good you've been called out, and good that the "evidence" you've posted has been shown to be garbage.

Keep your secret "significant documents." This isn't a matter some grand conspiracy to hide the genetic altering capabilities of FBI, AGGA, MAGGA, RAGGGA, ALF, DNA, Vivos, ETC appliances from the public. This isn't the old guard orthodontist trying to keep kids from "reaching their genetic potential." This is the old guard trying to keep teeth from being blown through the alveolus by magic treatments and pseudoscience.

Did Vivos explain that facial growth is influenced by not only soft tissue, but also genetics and environmental factors, most of which cannot be fixed or controlled by their appliances?

Thanks for the post to clarify here. This is in step with what what I am aware of. It’s really not cool of people involved in the dental industry to promote treatment or reasoning that is anecdotal and not based on evidence. Sometimes I see this stuff and think to myself. “Am I missing something here?” Only then after I research it out and find out it’s garbages or a misinterpretation of research that skews information to benefit someone’s pocketbook. Kind of like homeopathic dentistry…there should be board disciplinary action for people promoting magical treatment.

Read the AAO white paper on sleep apnea…there is a reason these “courses” are free…it’s because they are of no value and are trying to sell you something based on loose pseudo-science and pseudo-research.

Keep drinking the Kool-Aid. The flavor is "old fashioned orthodontics to address complex multifactorial conditions and convince dentists this is a modern cure."

Growing jaw claims? Sales hurt by similar buzz around the AGGA and lawsuits.

Mouth breathing and airway is the new thing for dentistry where everyone is fear mongering white suburban moms making them feel like Vivos and other treatment is going to cure their ADHD, anxiety, bla blah blah...I haven't been presented any great evidence that treatment for narrow arches and mouth breathing from a dental stand point does jack squat. I know that removal of adenoids/tonsils, reduction of nasal turbinates and adequate treatment of sinus issues helps with breathing as a developing kid. Dental stuff? show me the evidence.

Vivos lab is a joke. I presented at Houston dental convention a few weeks ago. Vivos Labs talked to me and an Orthodontic Specialists (we could not believe what they were telling dentists)

1. they have their magical appliance which is suppose to grow a mandible. no one can grow a mandible. it is basically is a passive herbst appliance . upper has some finger springs on it to push teeth out some

2. Ortho has nothing to do with sleep apnea, etc. the whole thought of making the box bigger for the tongue does nothing

With a very early interest in snoring and sleep apnea, I recently took part in a lot of CE with Vivos Labs. I now look at pts like yours in an entirely different way. I've come across airway development information years ago that just didn't seem right to me. However, Vivos lays out their evidence clearly and well. The CE courses are fee, and I would encourage you to consider this.
